There may come a time when your crystal stops working. Or maybe your crystals don't work, period.

Before we get into it, let's talk about this for one second, and I don't even want to address this, but alas, some people need to hear this.

If you have a real medical issue that requires treatment by a medical professional, then go to the fucking doctor like a normal person. A crystal will not fix a tooth that is broken or needs a root canal. A crystal will not fix your gangrene arm. A crystal will not fix your infection.

Crystals are not a substitute for the medical profession; instead, they are a part of a holistic, vibrational self-care modality that can help you to heal.

About That "Crystals Don't Work" Tribe

You may be a card-carrying member of the "Crystals Don't Work" tribe and insist on being convinced. Well, you're in the wrong place, my friend.

The first rule to crystal healing is that you actually have to believe that there's something to it. That's not to say a crystal won't do its thing, but if you come to crystal healing expecting fireworks or the crystal to leap out of your hand like a jumping bean, you'll be disappointed.

While some people do experience different reactions to crystals like their hand vibrating or getting hot, this is not what everyone experiences.

And there is some Jedi mind work going along with self-efficacy. Self-efficacy speaks to your belief in the outcome. Think crystals won't work for you? You get your wish. Think crystals will work for you? You get your wish.

If you don't realize that there is a mind, body spirit connection... you should explore it.

But again, crystals still "work" whether or not you believe in them. Their vibrational frequencies are constant whether or not you believe in them.

And you DON'T need to work with crystals. But if you're reading this, I'm pretty sure you're interested in working with them.

Time To Hit The "Reset" Button

While I do not believe that one day crystals stop working like a car that dies for no reason, a crystal's stable vibration can get out of whack. Where then it just needs a little help to go back into its natural frequency.

Size Matters For The Job At Hand

Maybe you don't have a large enough crystal for the job, and it seems like the crystals stop working. If you're expecting a 1” tumbled crystal to work its magic in your entire home, that's not likely to happen.

The energy torus of a crystal has a limited radius, which means that the bigger the crystal, the bigger the energy radius it will have. You just need to think of how much "power" you need.

It's Not You; It's Me

One thing to also consider if you believe the crystals stop working is that maybe the crystal isn't meant to work with you because its vibration isn't a match for you.

How To Make Crystals Work Again

If your crystals stop working or just doesn't seem to be working as it used to, it would be a good idea to reset your crystal with loud music, a singing bowl, or a big tuning fork in any note you'd like. This isn't about song or notes but the loudness. This is an excellent first step to make sure it's jammin' at its stable vibratory rate.

Once you've done that, you may want to double-check to make sure that crystal is suitable to help you do the work you're trying to accomplish. Remember, a crystal is a tool, not a fix-all pill. If you're trying to get better rest, you shouldn't choose a crystal that will give boost your energy, right?

After you have reset it and double-checked that you've selected the right crystal for the job, maybe it's time to smudge it with some palo santo, sit with it for a few minutes, say a prayer and take a break from the crystal. All to say that maybe you and the crystal need a break from each other.

When you come back to working with that crystal, and it still seems not to be working for you, then maybe it's time to pass it on to someone else. It could be that the crystal has done what it needed to with you and could be more helpful to someone else.
