First, you typically will not see the exact crystal you'll be purchasing, instead likely, the one you'll get is chosen randomly by the Seller. Second, you may get enticed to buy a set of crystals that you don't need because you've got the itch to buy. Lastly, some of the crystals, while it may be decent quality, are wildly overpriced. Do you research first before you purchase healing crystals on Amazon.
Always Check The Reviews
Make sure still to check out the reviews and photos on any healing crystal you're thinking of buying. I like to sort the reviews by the worst ones first to see if there are any significant issues.
For instance, if I'm looking for rose quartz, I'd want to make sure that I'm buying a pink crystal and not one that has the slightest twinge of pink.
If I'm buying a wand or a generator, I want to make sure that it doesn't come to me broken because then it can't be used for its purpose.

You'll likely run into the case where the Seller is impersonating another country trying to offload their inventory based upon the good name of another company.
You may also find that the listing picture shows a person holding a big old crystal, and when your crystal arrives, it's a fraction of the size pictured... but you didn't pay a fraction of the cost.
Fake Crystals On Amazon To Watch Out for
Unless you have decent beginner knowledge of healing crystals, you may be a prime (pun intended lol) candidate to get ripped off on Amazon.
Some list that they are selling quartz, but it's glass.
Or some say they are selling turquoise, but it's dyed howlite.

I'd say look Amazon is a great spot to buy rough crystals, like natural, just the way they came out of the Earth. Most people buy these because they'd like to do some rock tumbling or lapidary work. Buy you? You've got crystal healing to do, so check these out.
Rough Black Tourmaline
I don't think you can ever have enough black tourmaline. Great to have by the entrances to your home, great to grid your property with, great to use as an EMF barrier, excellent for grounding... there's a bunch of uses for black tourmaline.
Rough Rose Quartz
Who doesn't love Rose Quartz, it is after all the love stone! Again, you'd be buying rough (not polished) crystals here that you may want to put into your gem bath or put under your bed to help you manifest more love in your life.
Irregular Quartz Points
They aren't perfect, but they are still great for amplification. Also, an excellent addition to any crystal grid that you're creating. Even if you buy these in bulk and some of the points are broken, you can still use them near any other crystal to amplify its frequency.

Next, do some shopping online to see how much the crystal is going for from other retailers. Prices can vary because:
Sometimes crystals go in and out of fashion because someone has given an existing mineral a trademarked name making it sound "cooler" than it did before.
Somehow the mineral becomes known for having a unique healing property that EVERYONE now has to HAVE.
The crystal is harder to get because the mine closes, and they haven't found a new pocket in the world yet.
